Our next webinar will take place on Friday 24th July from 10.30-12pm and will be a CLOSED webinar for the higher education community. The webinar will help inform negotiations with the CLA over the HE Licence that is due for renewal in August 2027.
In March and April 2026, the Copyright Negotiation and Advisory Committee (CNAC) and Jisc surveyed UK higher education institutions on their use of, and perspective on, the CLA Higher Education Licence 2024-2027. As negotiations for the next licences are now underway, Charles Brophy and Anna Veron from Jisc will present an overview of the sector’s feedback. They will highlight how these insights are informing discussions with the CLA and provide an opportunity to address any questions from colleagues.
We will then follow with break out room discussions facilitated by members of CNAC and the Chair of CNAC, Kate Vasili.
