As an increasing number of universities move into transnational education (TNE) partnerships, library support for TNE has become a recent hot topic of conversation! Many of you expressed a wish for a coming-together of the community on this matter. So, whether your TNE partnerships are well-established, or you’re taking your first steps into this area of service provision, we hope you will come along.
Our main speakers will be Greg Ince from Jisc (Transnational Education Licensing) and Alison Davidson (University of Liverpool). Greg brings his wealth of experience in supporting HE librarians to navigate the licensing issues around TNE. Alison provides the librarian’s perspective, based on her own recent experience of mapping the long-standing TNE partnerships at her university, in order to clarify what support the library can provide for new partnerships. Diane Crawford-Leighton (University of Exeter) will kick things off with a summary of the findings from her recent survey.
