SPARC Europe published a report at the end of Sept taking stock of the Open Access copyright publisher policies of 10 large publishers and journals in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) to identify how far they currently support OA twenty years in. We’re pleased to see that the report: Open Access: An analysis of publisher copyright and licensing policies in Europe, 2020 has seen over 1,700 downloads so far.
We would like to engage in more of a discussion on the report with the community so you are invited to engage with the authors to discuss the findings and recommendations with them on a webinar in early November. Join Chris Morrison, Jane Secker, Vanessa Proudman and Ignasi Labastida i Juan for this webinar, hosted by the Association for Learning Technology.
Title: What do we need to know about OA copyright publisher policies today? And what’s next for immediate OA?
Time: 3 Nov 2020, 2pm CET (duration, 1 hour)
