We are delighted to be co-chairing the UUK / GuildHE Summer Copyright event taking place at Woburn House on Thursday 21st June from 10.30 until 4.15pm. The day will open with a keynote presentation from Dr Emily Hudson, Kings College London who will provide a global perspective on copyright exceptions in the library, education and cultural heritage sectors.
The morning will then be devoted to group work, where delegates will discuss what new features people would like to see in the CLA Higher Education Licence, to be negotiated by the Universities UK and GuildHE Copyright Negotiation and Advisory Committee (CNAC) in 2018-19. Then in the afternoon we’ve got an excellent line up of external guests (including CLA, ERA, Learning on Screen and the IPO) to take part in world cafe discussions, and to answers your questions.

Members of the CNAC will be hosting on the day, and the CILIP Information Literacy Group is sponsoring the event which is aimed at copyright specialists and those with responsibility for managing copyright issues in universities.
