We are really pleased to announce that CREATe have just launched a new section to their website Copyrightuser.org containing copyright advice and guidance for libraries, written by Chris Morrison and Jane Secker. It is divided into 6 sections covering:
1) Introduction to copyright
2) Providing access to copyright materials
3) User copying in libraries
4) Supporting teaching and learning
5) Supporting research
6) Copying for preservation
It also has some further reading and legal references at the end.
We’d welcome any feedback you might have, but hope this provides a useful addition to the existing copyright guidance for librarians.
