At our next webinar, on Friday 9 June at 11am (BST) we are delighted to launch the Code of Fair Practice for Film Educators.
This ground breaking resource aims to provide comprehensive guidance to film educators, enabling them to make well-informed decisions regarding copyright and the lawful utilisation of films and other audiovisual materials for educational purposes.
The long-awaited code was created as part of a collaboration between copyrightliteracy.org co-founders Chris Morrison (Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford) and Jane Secker (City, University of London), and Bartolomeo Meletti (Learning on Screen & CREATe, University of Glasgow). At the webinar, Chris, Jane and Bart will explain the background to the code, their methodology and give an overview of the different areas of activity and principles.
The webinar can be accessed via the Blackboard Collaborate link and the document can be found on the Learning On Screen Copyright Guidance pages.
