This coming Friday, 14th November is a chance to catch up with 5 speakers from September’s Icepops conference, which took place at the John Rylands Library at the University of Manchester. We have 4 guests joining us live and one delivering a recorded presentation. This is your chance to hear:

Doug McCarthy – ‘The Sunflower is Mine’ – Paradoxical Patterns in the Public Domain.

Ana Enriquez – Community and Joy through Learning: CopyrightX: Libraries.

Megan Kilvington – Navigating the different copyright spaces – reflections of a copyright librarian in Open Research.

Diane Crawford-Leighton – Copyright and you!: supporting the university community through a scenarios-based approach to copyright guidance

Sarah Brear – Saved Stories and New Tabs: CLA and HE sector collaboration.

We’ve already made the slides from their lightning talks available on the website, however on Friday you can hear live updates and there will be a chance to ask questions

So whether you were a delegate at this year’s Icepops and want to relive the highlights, or if you were not able to make it this year, do register for the webinar.

Just a quick note, the webinar is starting slightly earlier than usual at 10.30am and running until 11.30am this month. This was due to the availability of the Zoom platform, but everything else will be happening as usual. We hope to see you on Friday!
