We are delighted to offer 5 full funded bursary places for this year’s Icepops conference, thanks to the generosity of the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) and the CILIP Information Literacy Group. You have the opportunity to apply for a bursary by completing a short form and they will be awarded on a lottery basis. The bursaries are intended for delegates that would otherwise be unable to attend and we ask that applicants get the approval of their employer or supervisor before applying. The place includes a full conference place as well as up to £200 towards your travel and overnight accommodation, allowing you to enjoy both half days at the conference and the evening social. This year’s conference is taking place at the John Rylands Research Institute and Library at the University of Manchester.
In exchange for the bursary place, we ask that the winners provide a short write up (or video) to reflect on their experiences at the conference. This will be submitted after the event for publication on the ILG Blog and may be included in the CLA newsletter.
Completed applications for the bursaries should be submitted by Monday 16th June at 5pm.
